Ubisoft has released the first post-launch update for Far Cry New Dawn. According to the release notes, patch 1.0.4 brings numerous mission fixes and tweaks, adds a tip to guide players towards the Homebase’s helipad and brings various weapons balance tweaks.
Furthermore, this update features a number of gameplay fixes. For example, it improves ragdoll reaction against some vehicle types, fixes an issue where weapons were disappearing after the Outpost celebration cinematic under certain conditions, an issue where some vehicle textures could be missing under some specific conditions and an issue where a button would trigger multiple actions when driving with the “Shooter” control configuration.
It’s also worth noting that this patch brings various stability fixes. Going into more details, it fixes some stability issues caused by general gameplay, some stability issues caused when client connects to the host to play in CO-OP, a stability issue caused by breaking windows during a specific mission and a stability issue caused by the character customization menu.
